Make Your Own Pin Still Available?

Hi Everyone! We are heading down in 12 days and a couple of years ago I made a pin in the pin store at DTD. You chose your base and then there were little characters that you could place into little holes to affix them permanently to create your own unique pin. I would love to make another one when we return to bring home to my son. Does this option still exist? Thanks for the replies and have a great weekend!

Unfortunately, those are thing of the past. They have been gone for nearly 2 if not 3 years. The problem was the design of the machines that attached the small pieces to the actual pin themselves. They kept breaking and had lost of downtime. If you can't make the pins, you can't sell them and all the bases + attachments took up a lot of valuable shelf space for Disney to lose out on. If you have one, enjoy it as a piece of nostalgia. I personally liked the idea, but it didn't take of so well in the world of the collectors. This may have led to it's demise as well.

Yeah, they went away at least 3 years ago. I personally like the idea, but they could get pretty expensive.

Thanks for the replies, you two. I am bummed, but I know things change all the time and if they weren't selling, then they will phase them out. I was hoping to get one for Cole, but, life will go on and I will find another cool pin for him! Thanks again!
