..or..as much as i dont want to say it....get a Mac....works for me..

My 2K is already tweaked for 3D stuff, and i drop frames ALL the time when i do input/output...so everything goes thru the mac now...eww

He he.. at least your 2K can capture. :) Technically mine can too, except I need to turn off terminal services (which I use quite frequently).

Anyway.. This guide really did a number on my machine:
Pentium III 667Mhz
640mb PC133 SDRAM
Radeon 64 DDR (Have a Pinnacle DC10+ on another profile to tweak next)
Dual Seagate 27GB ATA66 HD
New Western Digital 80GB ATA100 (my new capture baby)

I can capture at 720X576, 27.97 frame rate, 16-bit 44khz stereo without dropping a single frame. :sohappy: I put the 80gig drive on the motherboard ATA66 controller and it did a world of wonder. I had purchased an ATA100 RAID card for this drive, but I was getting dropped frames.. I guess when you go cheap, you get cheap. :)
