Make-Up

With all the talk about getting neat and pretty lately, I'm wondering what's the best make-up for the heat and humidity during the summer at Disney? I usually wear an oil free moistureizer, urban decay eye shadow primer, Revlon color stay eye shadow and eyeliner, tarte blush and I just discovered Revlon's color stay ultimate suede lipstick. So ladies and @mrdisman what do you wear?

I stick to my Versace cream foundation as it never lets me down, even in a thunderstorm.I also use Calvin Klein nail polish on my wee toes. For my hair,I use Vidal Sassoon mega hold gel, which is also waterproof. My lipgloss acts as a sun protector and the one I use is a Mick Jagger No 7...Apart from that,I hardly worry about getting neat & pretty at WDW. :P

I will most likely just use sunscreen and mascara and eye brow pencil. My eye lashes and eye brows are so blonde that you cant see them without color on them. Even though I know I will be wearing sunglasses and no one will see them anyway...it just makes me feel better. I will also start out with a light color of lipstick, but will switch to lip balm with a high spf after that.
Aloette has a great foundation that doesn't sweat off, has great coverage and also has an spf in it. They call it ultra finish and I am told it is similar to the bare minerals.

I'm not just "neat and pretty" -- when it comes to makeup, I'm also "cheap and easy." ;) I use Oil of Olay Regenerist Serum (youngsters don't need it, but I do), a Mary Kay moisturizer with sunblock in it, Cover Girl heavy coverage foundation and powder (I have a heavily scarred/blemished face due to years of PCOS-related acne and really can't do without it), eyeliner/eyeshadow combination pencil (whatever brand the drugstore is selling), Maybelline waterproof mascara, and Cover Girl Natureluxe lip tint with sunblock. On my toes, I use Sally Hansen "diamond strength" nail polish, which goes for days without chipping.

I apply everything with a "light hand" (the goal being to make it look like I'm not wearing makeup at all, but have naturally beautiful skin and eyes -- heh world, I fooled you!). It stays in place well, even on the hottest days, and I never have to give it a second thought. When visiting the powder room, I do blot my face gently with a clean, dry paper towel, which I find works as well as expensive blotting papers to remove sweat without disturbing my make-up.

I've never had a problem with maybeline dream matte mouse. Hawian tropic ozone factor 70 sunscreen ( dont suppose its for your face but its not sticky like most creams)
& mascarra. I used to like super cheap liquid eyeliner ( the girl on the packet was the colour of a tangarine , so super cheap ) which would peel off rather than run and just blend that with my finger for eye shadow but I cant get it anymore.

I had a horrible reaction on day 10 to something, either the dye from the poncho or my boots moisturiser with fake tan ( summer glow , ha ) I was awake all night , felt like I was being wacked with a bunch of nettles.

I'm not very girly girl to begin with. I do not wear makeup on a day to day bases so when we went to WDW I stayed with my normal routine, sunscreen, lip balm for my dry lips and my glasses which tint naturally. Until I got married most makeup caused me to either break out or I felt like I was wearing clown makeup because it felt heavy on my face. Now I've found something I can wear but I don't wear it every single day it's just not who I am. I admire those who do take the time to do all the makeup and get what colors go with what. But I would rather take the half hour it takes to put on my face to get to the park just a half hour sooner.

By the time we head to Disney in the Fall, I usually have that Jersey tan happening, and refresh it in the Florida sun ;) ... I dont use foundation, just a blusher from Chanel, black cake eyeliner from Chanel (see, told ya I look like Maleficent!!) and an estee lauder long last pinkish lipstick. I swear by Estee Lauder face creams, and wear Idealist under the blusher or after the sun. Great question Figgy!!

I am so thankful that I don't wear foundation. In the Florida heat I couldn't imagine. I pretty much put a non-oil base sunscreen solely for faces on in the morning when in Disney. I use Chanel eye liner and Maybeline waterproof mascara and that is about it! At night depending on how hot it is I may throw on some eye shadow. I use a very natural color from clinique that I just love! Oh and can't forget the spf chapstick! I always stick with Blistex. Still haven't figured out a way to carry the chapstick around in the parks without the darn thing melting in the heat though. LOL! :p

I usually have a face tan too by the time we go down. I always use Neutrogena SPF 70 on my body. On the face I use Loreal Revitalift SPF 30 day lotion. It's lightweight and not oily. If I want to dress it up at night, I add some Maybelline dream fresh bb cream and some lip gloss. Sunscreen lip balm by Blistex during the day always!
Don't need as much primping as @real mad hatter seems to need!! LOL
