Main Street Vehicles

Out of our many trips I have only once seen the vehicles run and that was a while back! Do they even use the horse drawn troollys, firetrucks or cars anymore. If not it makes me sad I never had a chance to ride one.

Yes they do, but usually only in the mornings, and only on certain days. Typically you'll find the trolley (you can ride between the Trolley Shows that go from the Hub to Town Square) and the firetruck. All the vehicles (including the cars and double decker bus) are still backstage so they can be brought out when crowds are light.

It sounds like next time we go to wdw we have to get up early at park opening. To even have a chance to ride the trollys and cars because it sounds like its a rare occurrence to even see them running. I think it would be an unique experience to be able ride on one!

We always go in the off season (around sept) and only ever see the horse drawn trolley and the firetruck. I haven't seen a double decker bus since they were in the World Showcase.

Thank you rct247 for your information! I would have to agree with you that the biggest issue are the crowds. Over the last decade theres been a huge increase in guests. Which means less time or no time for the vehicles.

I too was thinking about this last week...i was there on Saturday, Wednesday, and Saturday again and never saw any trolley's or horses on Main Street...sucks
