Main Street vehicles are back

I have been going to WDW since I was a baby and I have yet to ride one of these vehicles. If they are there in Sept/Oct I will make it a point to ride one. I always wanted to ride the horse drawn trolly(sp?)

They were out in full force in December, August, and my two visits in May last year. I didn't look in February of this year.

Yeah, from what I have always seen or heard they usually bring some out early in the morning and then phase them out....though to be honest they do not seem to be out often or for very long....

Sooooooooo if this is a trend for their usage to be increased then THAT is indeed Great News.

They never went away - with construction scrims up in the streets, it made it much harder for vehicles to drive around. During the scrim time, they would traditionally have them out during morning breakfast guests and the first hour of the park opening, after that, Main Street couldn't accommodate it.

Really enjoyed riding the fire engine in an empty park and the double decker bus down Main Street when were Family of the Day last month. Really, with the exception of that or to complete and Ultimate touring plan, I probably wouldn't of even given them a second thought.

Me either, but the sound of the horse's hooves and the other vehicles is a part of Main Street that should not be lost forever. Kind of like the Magic Shop and the unique merchandise found in each store.

I had the pleasure of riding the horse trolley at Christmas time early in the morning with the Daper Dans singing Christmas songs on the back as we went down main street.

When we went in early June, we caught a ride on the fire engine and saw the horse drawn trolley as well, which we have also rode twice. I have never seen the double decker bus or the horseless trolley.

This is news to me, they never stopped running!!! They always run for the first few hours in the morning, they usually stop about 10.30ish, as the street then gets to busy with parades etc. They are also used for the rainy day cavlcade! They do run randomly though so it depends on chance if you see them or not!
