Main Street USA Windows Merchandise

Does anyone know if they still make the little replica Main Street Windows that were for sale in a few stores....one we liked was the Railroad Office window...think it was about $50 little art replica on a posted stand...about 8 to 10 inches tall with stand.? I have been trying to find an image on the net and not coming up with anything....let me know if you are familiar with their proper "name"....guess I can pick a phone order persons brain...but always seem to find my answers here easily....someone has been very good this year and adores Walt's office window....:xmas:

Spotted 1 or 2 windows over the weekend at the Art of Disney store at DTD Marketplace. Don't know which one(s) tough, sorry.

I had spotted them on Main Street in the store with the other things locked safely away behind glass...collectibles, jewelry, crystal etc....and in the largest shop in Animal Kingdom near their artsy area with likewise locked cases....there were 3 different, but someone here fell in love with the railroad office window from the train station....the recreation was highly detailed and a wonderful memory....Santa will have to pull through for me....:xmas::king:.

Darn darn darn...just got through...all ears left the house for a few....and a CM at the mailorder told me the Walt Disney window is no longer available, sold out.....but the ones for Elias and Roy Disney I think are still about. I think she said they were titled MAIN STREET WINDOWS WALT DISNEY 12".....sigh....it was rather special and doubt I will ever find one on ebay.....I waited tooooo long....

Oh I saw those they are cute but these were JUST the signs by themselves as little 3d art pieces.....wish I had an image to share I had seen one on google last Spring but no luck now....just like they took the window off the building frame and all and shrunk it replica sort of thingy.:king:

On a seperate note....my mouse friendly basement has just captured another Mickey.:lookaroun...we have a catch and release program here....kids know how much I adore Mickey that they scolded me for not taking better care of the mice that enter....:ROFLOL:So we drive about a mile away and there is a nice woods and other homes hearby for him to visit should he wish to....:sohappy:.

Oh, I know exactly what you are talking about. Yes, they do sell these still.

There are several of these. They would have a famous Main Street window on two display legs. They are like 3-4" tall and are constructed of I believe wood and/or plastic. I think they were more than $50, but it is around that price range.

I don't have a pic either, though. :hammer:

YES they had two little support legs....looked exactly like THIS one....I really wonder if any stores have them at all....the phone CM said they were not available at all when I asked if perhaps stores like the Art of Disney had them yet....:lookaroun...maybe I need to get on the physical phone with the stores I suspect may carry them....maybe someone still has one in stock.....the quest continues.....

If it helps, I remember seeing them in the Art of Disney section in Creature Comforts (DAK) and The Art of Disney in EPCOT. :wave:

OOoh thanks much Pluto....I managed to find some of the direct numbers on another mb for some of the AOD stores....couldn't find one for MK....I called and got throught to AK and they only had the Elias Disney window left in their store....could not get through to Epcot or DHS but left message with DTD store to inquire....keeping fingers crossed....

Well got the operator to connect me to Epcot and they have both the Elias and Roy Windows but said Walter's is SOLD OUT....gave wrong # to MK store but I suppose it's same story there...thanks for letting me know where you saw some!

I finally got an order thru for the Book Windows on Main Street direct from disney merchandise by phone....I had placed an order thru Amazon and seems they are sold out too....guess quite a few peeps admire those windows....
