Main Street Buildings

The buildings on Main Street are built to 1/8th scale on top. The bottom parts are normal size. They use forced perspective to make the buildings look full size. The reason why they did this was that the three story buildings that close would be forboding and very ugly!

not quite...

from what I remember is the groung floor is full scale, the second is 7/8 scale and the third is 5/8 scale , a full three storys would have made mainstreet look look a canyon.

BTW 1/8 scale would make the top level around two feet high
