Main Street Barber Shop

Has anyone every gotten a haircut at the Main Street Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom? If so, was it easy or difficult to get a slot? My husband wants to do this when we go in a couple of days, but we don't want to waste a lot of our precious park time waiting?

I got my hair cut yesterday.

There was only 1 person working at the time and the 2nd person they sent, their electricity wasn't working so it was still 1 person when I left.


I had to wait about 30-45 minutes on a wierd family that had 3 people get their hair cut.



There are no appointments, 1st come, 1st served. You keep track of it yourselves. It's the cheapest haircut you'll get at WDW.

Go right at 9 when they open and the lines shouldn't be too long, but you'll have to live with hair on you for the rest of the day.

I have, last year this week. I went there as soon as the park opened. I wasnt the first person in the park, but most people rush right past the shop. I was the second person in and sat right down. They did a nice job, sprinkled pixie dust in my hair and posed for a picture or 2. while i was there, only one other person came in.

I've always wanted to get my hair cut there, but whenever I get my hair cut, I get all itchy if I don't take a shower afterwards (some of the hair goes down the back of my shirt and stuff like that). I wouldn't want to be all itchy when I am trying to have a good time at the MK.

i got my hair cut bout two weeks ago. there was a line in front of me so i had to wait for an hour. but the haircut was ok, cept i had to live all day with people staring at me because of my hair. but hey some people actually liked it. kinda weird. but pixie dust does get annoying.
