Magnetic money clip

I bought a money clip at WDW a few years ago that I want to start using with our next trip to the world. My dilemma is that the clip side is magnetic and I'm concerned that it may render the strips on my credit cards, etc. useless.
Has anybody else had experience with this type of money clip?

I would not use that....... Keep your debit and credit cards away from the magnetic device.

My DH has a Coach leather money clip that is magnetic, but carries his cards in a wallet. You could try carrying them in different pockets to prevent demagnitization, keep them away from your cell phone as well (not that I've ever had that problem :lookaroun ).
