MagicBands to be used for all Extra Magic Hours park entry from next week

Unless I'm mistaken, there is a flaw in that. I was at EMH in MK this past Sunday (early Monday morning 12 midnight - 2 am). I arrived at MK just after 9pm after HS closed. Unlike parties, no one goes around checking to see if you are eligible. While I did stay at a resort and was a legitimate visitor for EMH, by midnight, you could walk right on to the standby lines. Now, sure, if you arrive after EMH start, you can't go in but I didn't see any check for guests already in the park. Mind you, I don't really care. If someone with a day ticket can hang around for EMH, fine with me.

I was there that same Sunday and they did check that we were wearing bands, nothing futher than that though.

I was never checked. Perhaps because I was wearing the magic band (thereby indicating I'm staying at resort) was enough.

Not sure. Everyone had bands and they scanned one from each party before letting us get into the line (or in the park for Morning EMH).
