Magical Express through Spirit Airlines?

I noticed on the Disney website that Spirit Airlines does not participate in the Magical Express check-in. Does that just mean that I have to get my bags from baggage claim, or can I still have them deliver the bags to my room?

I think you may be confusing Resort Airline check-in with Magic Express. As far as I know any guests arriving at the Orlando airport are eligible for Magic Express, but not every airline participates in Resort Airline check-In which is the program for your departure from your resort to the airport.

Correct. Every passenger on every airline on every domestic flight that lands before 10 p.m., you get the full Disney's Magical Express luggage service.

I've flown Spirit to MCO many times, never been to baggage claim.

On the way home, as noted earlier, you'll need to take your bags with you to the DME bus so you can check them at the airport at the Spirit Airlines counter.
