Magical Express Last-Second Change

Kind of a weird question, but since I couldn't find anything and got two different answers from Disney:

Heading to Orlando really soon. My flight back home is currently scheduled to depart @ 10 AM, let's say on October 2nd. However, there's another flight at 4 PM I'd really much rather take.

At the moment, I have Same Day Confirmed benefits on Delta to switch to the later flight, but I won't know if I have the change approved until 10 AM on October 1st. Can I let DME know that I'll have a magical new flight that late, or should I be planning on arranging a taxi or some such thing?

I would think you should be able to change it through them. There was one trip where we got the last day paperwork on our door, and it said they had no flight info for us and we needed to call them and get it set up. We did so with no problem. I don't see how your situation would be any different logistically wise! Have a great trip!!

You just change it by calling them and telling them what time you would want a pickup. I do this all the time.
