Ok all, here's the update!

Castle with Mirror Pictures!!


Let's Start!!

-The Mirror on the Castle is HUGE!!! There are extra supports for it all around. The photos off the 3 different disney castles will change in a way similar to a billboard on the highway. All accross the front of the mirror, there appears to be some sort of twinkle light effect, to maybe make the mirror "sparkle" as it changes. It is not actually leaning on the castle, as you can see a gap from underneath it between it and the actual castle roof. The balcony is still visible, as it will be needed for Cinderellabration (or so i've heard!)

-The Fastpass machines at the Haunted Mansion are still wrapped up, not moved yet. The sign is covered, and FP still appears on the map, which brings us to the next point.

-The Magic Kingdom has a new map style, it now features instructions on Photopass, and Fastpass, as well as a new layout for restraunt explanations. Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station is on the map, but the description features "opening in Spring 2005" There is no actual number for the hieght on Stitch's Great Escape, it just says that there is one. All the other attractions have an actual measurement as to it's requirment.

-Astro Orbiter was open, no planets at all up there

-I broke the score on Buzz Lightyear, earning 999,999 points by the 3rd room!!!!! :sohappy: (the rest of the ride can be dull, with no game to play, but I didn't care, and took in some details of the attraction I had never noticed before!)

-Crowds were not practically at all, we walked on to almost everything!

-Tom Sayer Island looks great!, but the bird ________ is a bit out of hand (but that's a loosing battle in Fronterland!)

-In front of Toontown hall of fame, there is a blue construction wall up, however, the hall is still visitable.

-The crane from behind the castle is no longer there (is the overlay done?, I can't imagine, as there are so many other charactors to do! aka..tink)

-The Express Monorail is still only taking passengers one way, to the park in the morning, and back later in the day

Thank you for the update, the bird pooh problem needs to be fixed. Nice buzz score I never seem to get above 100, 000, but thats just my problem. Oh well.

Forgot to Mention=Both Theatres of Stitch's Great Escape are running, the one that normally exits into Merchant of Venus, however, now exits behind that blue wall next to the enterance (normally a CM only access area). The Rehab. continues on Merchant of Venus.

ew.. the bird crud is still up there??.. they need to get rid of that fry cart and tell people not to feed the birds..

Since when does the express Monorail only go one way? Im quite sure I rode it both ways like 2 weeks ago....

Are there any new effects working like the crumbing wall at stitch that is suppose to go up?

Nice update. Unfortunately there is no reason for them to remove the bird poo until the birds are gone, which should be soon. It's gross, but at least the majority of the birds are gone by April.

The crane was removed for at least 2 weeks. Cinderellabration is rehearsing for the next few weeks after hours and they can do no work on the castle while rehersals are going on due to safety. So it was decided to remove the crane and take down the wall for a few weeks. After that the crane will return for some final touch ups.

thats a shame... wish they could just get it over with ... that crane is so big and ugly... its very hard to hide behind those walls... takes away from the "magic" plus I just want to see the darn thing finished by the 28th when I get there! maybe ill be lucky and come home to a walless hub and prince charmings castle.... guess I was pretty lucky to see one of the very last shows of Cindy's old suprise celebration before it was axed for the new show which I can't wait to see.

Thanks for the update, Chape. I wish they would hurry up and get all the characters up, and remove the walls so we don't have to look at all that crap! Great update, though!

1-yes, very true, but they are trying, I at least could see some effort on telling people not to feed the birds.

2-The Express Monorail is only going 1 way due to the instillation of automatic safety gates at the Magic Kingdom Station. Because of the construction wall up at the station, there is only 1 side of the station open, therefore, you can only load or unload, not both. This is temporary, and will will be done soon.

3-No new effects on Stitch so far, same show.

thanks chape for some answers... im glad someone agrees with me about the not feeding the birds thing in frontierland... I see SO many people doing that on my trips and I feel like kicking them! Its a shame when you hear about places like Tokyo where everything is constantly kept spick and span

It will be good to see the rails in good working order too... the monorail is such a huge part of the disney experience for me... and could very well be the home of my not so distant future ocupation ;)

They are being refurbished for our future enjoyment and I think they are in the area behind the tomorrowland buildings right now... they should be up very soon as there were people out inspecting the place and such... they'll be back... and everyone would agree a planetless astro orbiter does indeed look shabby

I understand now. When I read it, I thought it meant the monorail was traveling one-way. I didn't think about loading and unloading.
