I have seen a lot of old video games themed to Disney parks, especially the Magic Kingdom, whose levels are themed to the various attractions. Who could ever forget 1990's Adventures In the Magic Kingdom or 2001's WDW Magical Racing Tour? But did you know that, only in Japan, there was another theme park-themed game, set in Tokyo Disneyland. It's called Mickey no Tokyo Disneyland Daibouken, which should roughly translate as something along the lines of Mickey's Big Adventure In Tokyo Disneyland. The level selection in this game is identical to that of Adventures In the Magic Kingdom, but with a trek through Splash Mountain taking the place of AITMK's Autopia. Has anyone heard of this game?
And here's link to a YouTube clip of the game, in the first level, themed to Pirates of the Caribbean: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djCeUl7mLaw.
And here's ANOTHER clip of the game, also from YouTube, which contains the game's final level and the closing dialogue of the game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2_OZHMPfI0. The level is themed to an attraction found only at Tokyo, but sadly has recently closed: the Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour. And this game, being released only in Japan, has no English wording in the end, so it's hard to understand what they're saying.
So take a look and what do you think?
