Magic Kingdom Parade Question.

Scratching my head over this one......Our first trip into the magic was in 2004 and Spectro was the MK parade..I'am sure it was still there on our second trip in 2006.. When did it get replaced with the Electric parade.?..On our third trip in 2008, I can't remember if Spectro was gone or not.?..

According to Wikipedia (!) the second run of Spectro went from April 2, 2001 - June 5, 2010.

The original Main Street Electrical parade ran from 1977 until 1991, then SpectroMagic ran 1991 to 1999. MSEP returned for the millenium celebration from 1999 to 2001. SpectroMagic's final run was from 2001 until 2010. The Main Street Electrical Parade came back once more in June 2010 as part of a limited event called "Summer Nightastic." At the end of that summer promotion, Disney announced that MSEP had been so successful and due to popular demand, they were leaving it in WDW indefinitely. (You might recall that the boards were rife with speculation at the time that this had been part of the plan all along.) Hope that clears it up for you!

Many thanks for that info...My old memory fades in and out like the tide..I do remember seeing SpectroMagic in 2008... We went back in July of 2010 and MSEP was the night time parade...Thanks again.
