Magic Kingdom now priced differently

I searched and searched for this on WDWMagic.com, hoping to see if there was a thread on the subject already. Apparently, it hasn't, so I feel that I have to make it myself.

I heard that the Magic Kingdom is now priced differently and is now most costly than the rest of the parks. What was up with that?

More people go to MK then the other parks. It only effects single day tickets.

Supply and demand...the most popular park can demand a premium. Surprised it wasn't done earlier....although they may eventually price us out altogether.

MK is priced at $95 for a single day. The other 3 parks are $90. Plus tax, of course.

Noticed it around the first of August...could have been sooner.
