Awhile back ( maybe 2010 ) there was talk of a Magic Kingdom movie being released around 2013 written in the same style as the Night At the Museum movies. Now I'm guessing it isn't coming out this year but is this still in the works? I think it would be a fun movie to watch and very entertaining to Disney and theme park fans. Any info on this?

I think it may have been scrapped? They should do Kingdom Keepers instead anyway.

This interview is from July last year, so I wouldn't say it was scrapped but I think Jon Favreau just wants to take his time. He will probably wait for Iron Man 3 to simmer down before he starts anything.
