Sounds crazier than Last year when i was there. My brother is there right now and is trying to go to DHS. Anyone think that'll hit capacity today?

Ah Sorry just saw this. Thanks for the info! Just called him. If it does hit capcity what is the chance of it re-opening? I remember last NYE when i was at MK it re-opended to the public for a bit around 5ish? Any chance of that happening or no way to tell. My guess is no way to tell , but hes freaking out haha.

They typically reopen. I cant recall an occasion, even going back to 99/2000 where the parks did not reopen. You can always count on some people leaving after the earlier firework shows, or some people just running out of steam and leaving.

I am on the. ME bus right now...I think DHS is our best bet for tonight. I'd appreciate any opinions or any more info from the parks!

Info from text about 3PM someone at DAK: she said DAK is slower than what she's seen in July...Safari was 25 min this morning, Everest @ 40 min and Tough to be a Bug was 5

for what it worth.....

On New Years eve 12/31/2001, my cousins walked on to Tower of Terror around 11:55, they received a treat where their elevator was held up for a prolonged period of time at the top of the lift so they could watch the fireworks. It may be worth the risk for a one of a kind experience.

I think the rest of my family really wants to go to the magic kingdom, knowing the crowd levels. They are thinking more with their heart than head though. We arrive at AKL villas momentarily, maybe they will have a sense of current closures.

Is it expected to be this busy through the weekend, or will the crowds more or less disappear after Friday?

We're arriving on Sunday afternoon and it would stink if we couldn't get into a park of our choice.

We are at the magic kingdom now. We got here in time for spectro and had a great view by the railroad station. Walking up main street after the show was incredibly crowded. Once we got to fantasyland it was just very crowded. Now we are standing by the carousel waiting for the 830 holiday wished. Philharmagic is walk on and small world about 20 min
