Magic Kingdom 2 days or one day?

I was wondering if we can do magic kingdom in one day considering that we will not be doing any of the kid rides/shows?

We were thinking that we might need to do Epcot in 2 days. Does it really require 2 days?

How many park days do you have total?

We have 5 and we are attending all four parks so we can spend 2 days at one of the parks. It will either be at Epcot or at Magic Kingdom.

I would spend 2 days at MK but that is just me. For that length of stay, I usually I get a park hopper though so I can visit multipe parks each day. That allows me to visit both MK and Epcot twice

If it is adults only going and you are going to place more of an emphasis on drinking, then i would say EPCOT. Also what do you consider the kid rides and when are you going?

I would do MK instead of Epcot, but it is very much an individualized choice. Is there any reason you can't save the "undecided" day until last and make the decision after you've had a chance to visit both MK and Epcot? Make FP+ based on your best guess and change them at the last minute if necessary. If you plan to make a table service meal ADR that day, make it for a resort restaurant or Downtown Disney instead so you won't be "tied" to a specific park.

What kids rides are you talking about because that eliminates most of MK. Are you just doing the Mountains? If that's the case you will be missing out on a lot of great rides. I personally would do MK 2 days.

I think they mean like the Dumbo rides, the Magic Carpet...maybe Peter Pans Flight, Buzz Lightyear type rides?

I would do MK in 2 days, and EPCOT in 2 days w/ DHS and AK 1 day if not park hopping. I would do a 6 day ticket if possible.

If you don't have interest in kid rides, EPCOT might be your better bet. Both are phenomenal parks and you just can't go wrong with either

If you have a park hopper option, just do both! Personally, we do more at MK than Epcot but we also love the parades and Wishes. It really comes down to do you it's wanna do rides or take in the whole "Disney experience" with shows and meet and greets too?

Personally, I would bookend the trip with MK visits, but you could easily split up Epcot into a World Showcase day and a Futureworld day if you wanted and have an awesome time.

This is what we do. We are going for 5 days in April, and our plan is MK, DHS, AK, Epcot, then the last day is primarily MK + whatever else we wanted to do (most likely for us, DHS). You could try this plan, then use your last day to hit whichever park you decided needed two days.

I also agree with a PP that if you are skipping the kid stuff, DHS won't take a full day. AK is not a full day for us, either. You may be able to do close to 2 days at both MK and Epcot.

If you have access to emh and you do EPCOT on their early or late hours days, you will not need two days.
The ideal thing would be to have a hopper and do both parks half a day at the end of your trip.
Let me add, this doesn't hold true during peak seasons.

I would suggest getting park hopper tickets. Spend a full day at MK and try for every attraction you can that day. Do a full day at Epcot and focus your attention on FW and one or two countries in WS. Then do a combined day. Start off at MK at opening and finish what you missed. Then take the monorail over and spend your time in all the countries at WS.

There is less demand for rushing around at WS so it can be a good break from the chaos at MK. Sample drinks and food and move at more leisurely pace. Definitely have a nice dinner over there.
