we are annula pass holders have our magic bands for trip next week, bought halloween themed magic band for Halloween party I cant seem to link them anyone have advice

Magic Bands

I ordered bands for both my wife and I prior to our December trip last year and she was able to activate hers with no issues on the website. I, however, never could get mine to work. I called customer service and they sent a second band after they couldn't help me activate it. The second band also did not work (it was the Haunted Mansion band both times). Finally it was decided to just use the one they sent me and then activate the purchased one when I arrived at the resort. That finally worked.
