Magic bands

Hi everybody quick magic band question. My family and I will be staying at pop early June. We won't be going to the parks this trip. However we will be using an annual pass for the water parks. Will I be able to link the water park annual pass to our bands?

As an AP holder you should be able to do this - its still a Disney ticket

Thanks so much for the reply! So even if its just a water park annual pass they should be able to link it? I just want to clarify the pass is only for the water parks.

If the pass is linked to your MDE profile, then it should work with your Magic Band.

Did you already get a Band for having the Water Parks AP? (I'm not sure which types of AP's got Bands when they were rolled out)

I have an annual pass so I have a mg for just that but even staying at the resorts I still get another mg which connects it automatically through MDE

We dont have the water ap yet. Please pass no judgment lol we will be doing a few days at Universal this trip and a few at Disney water parks while staying on Disney property. We are purchasing the annual pass due to it just being a few dollars more and we will be able to use it during a second trip in November.

Well, I suppose you could go online to the WDW website and buy the Water Park AP's and choose the Will Call pickup option. During the checkout process you can link them to specific profiles in your MDE account (those that are associated with your hotel reservation, and thus the Bands).

If things work as regular MYW tickets do, you may not even have to stop at Guest Relations to pick up the tickets, you can just go to the water park entrance, scan the Band and continue on.

That says the after 2pm water park AP can be linked, I'm sure the regular water park AP can be linked too =)
