Magic Bands from the UK?

Hi I was just wondering when coming from the UK for a vacation we normally have the card Disney tickets so what will happen now it's all the wristbands?

Apparently there are some legal reasons based on the technology used in the bands meaning they cant be sent to the UK and you get issued at check in. Any suggestion that the real reason is international courier costs is entirely misplaced.

I guessed that they wouldn't send them out...so do you mean that we would get them at the hotel when we checked in, probably on presentation of some kind of ticket to show we have bought them?

Just your photo ID, just like checking in previously. But now instead of room key cards you'll get the Magic Bands.
