Not even sure if this is where this thread would go since it's sort of general discussion, sort of trip planning, sort of DVC. But here goes....
Now I know the Magic Bands and FP+ haven't gone live for all yet, but I was thinking about future trips and I had a question pop into my head... How will the Magic Bands, FP+, etc. work with people who are renting DVC points? We don't have access to the DVC member's page which is where I assume the FP+ ressies and Magic Band info would be. Would the member have to make the reservations for us? And would they have to change them all for us if we wanted a change? Would we be able to access the app to change FP+ ressies day of or will we have to contact the member to make those changes? Since my app is connected to my name and my ressie's (example, we are staying at the Poly on 9/7 but then renting points at BLT 9/12-15 so I can only see the Poly portion of the trip) I don't think I would be able to access any FP+ since it would technically be under a DVC member? Maybe Disney hasn't addressed these issues yet. I know they are still working the kinks out. But that is something to think about when looking into renting points. Seems like it would be a pain if I were a member renting my points and then having to deal with getting the Magic Bands sent to me, shipping them to the renter, making and changing all their FP+ ressies.... Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about how this portion would work!
