Magic Bands/Fast Pass when staying on and off site

We are in the process of planning our nine day trip for April. Staying at a timeshare all but two nights and a Disney value resort for two nights. We intend to buy a 5 day ticket to the parks. How will this work? Will only be able to reserve fast passes for two days at the 60 day mark, and then the other 3 days worth at 30 days? Thanks

This was from my experience in 2014, so something may have changed.

It depends on the order in which you are staying on-site vs off-site. If you stay on-site first, then you can reserve all 5 days at the 60 day mark. If you are off-site first, then you can reserve the 2 days on-site at 60 days and then the 3 days off-site at 30 days.

So if you can, do your on-site portion first so you can book everything at 60 days.
