Magic Bands and Water

So I've been thinking about these magic bands. I'm going in December and am getting a magic band, and I was wondering, are they waterproof? If you go into a waterpark or on, say, Splash Mountain, can you leave your magic band on without it (and your tickets!) being ruined?

Yes they are waterproof.

But they don't float so be careful if you hit the pool or water parks.

Yes, they are waterproof. But, my daughter lost her magic band at Blizzard Beach. So, be careful not to lost it in the water.
