Magic bands and planes

it might be a stupid question but I couldn't find an answer:
We get our magic bands at the resort check in. When we come home can we take them on the plane as they have those radio frequencies things? And if so can we put it in hand luggage?

From what I understand, they are able to go through security with no issues as Disney states if you are using Magical Express, to take them in your carry-on so you can use them at the airport for check in.

It's always been taken in my carry-on.

We've always brought ours to/from in our carryon "personal items" and it's never been an issue.

I keep it on my wrist bc I like to be reminded I'm leaving jk
