Magic Bands and Attraction Photos

Last year I went on a vacation to Disney World in Orlando Florida. when I got home I discovered that all of the ride photos that where taken where online and available for me to purchase. I did not purchase any of them from the attraction so I assume they where tracking me with the Magic band. This year I made another trip to the park and to my disappointment I did not see any of my attraction photos online. Does anyone know how this works? Was it something they where trying out and no longer provide?

Yeah, effective about two weeks ago, if you purchased the Memory Maker for your trip, the photos are supposed to automatically be there. Otherwise, you had to either buy the Attractions+ package at the parks or buy the photos individually within 48 hours of them being taken. I ran into the same thing. I even emailed to see if the pictures can be retrieved, since I have the photo numbers and know the exact dates and approximate times, and all I got back was a "ride photos have to be bought within 48 hours" for a reply.

We were at WDW June 7-15. I pre-purchased the Memory Maker and all of our ride photos were automatically added to our account. We didn't have to stop at the photo desk after the ride, the bands are working as described with the long range detection in the ride. We loved it
