Magic bands 2 for trip

We will be arriving at Disney Feb 12th. When I try to order the new magic bands 2 under my Disney experience all that are offered are the old style. If you shop Disney you pay shipping I liked picking it up when I checked in. Any ideas short of buying when I get there.

Are you referring to the new MagicBand+? They haven't been released yet. The only information is sometime in 2022.

If you're talking about the version 2 vs the original MagicBands without the removable puck, they haven't sold the old ones in at least a couple years. So if you're seeing the old style, it's likely just out of date artwork files on the site.

I am talking about the bands Disney has sold for the last two year which I have a small bag of. The new Magic Band 2s that interact are on sale in the Disney online store. Among others there is a plain navy blue, A DVC Tinkerbell and a 50th with Walt on it. However if you try to order a band in my Disney experience to be at your resort when you arrive there are only the old noninteractive type for sale and there is nothing to indicate they are not the new version. I am sure the unsavvy or 1st timers are not aware of the difference and will arrive to have kids unhappy when there is no interaction and more money will be spent on the new ones and Disney"s obsolete stock will be reduced

I think you're getting confused by terminology.

The newest version of MagicBands are actually the third version. Disney has named them "MagicBand+", presumably to denote that they have more functionality than previous versions.

The original version was simply "MagicBand". These were phased out a few years ago:

Then came the second version, dubbed "MagicBand 2", which is all that Disney currently sells.

The MagicBand+ will go on sale at some point this year, and it's unclear if they will be available for a discount to resort guests.

MagicBand+ will be available for purchase beginning next year, including a discounted, pre-arrival price for Disney Resort hotel guests as well as new and renewing Walt Disney World Annual Passholders. Current MagicBands will continue to be available, too, along with the complimentary Disney MagicMobile service that extends MagicBand features, such as park entry, to smart devices.
