Magic Band Ticket Activation?

Hi, hopefully an easy question which I'm missing the point of! Just booked a 15 night stay with a 14 day ticket direct with disney. We won't be arriving until 6/7pm to check in so don't really want to waste a day's ticket for a few hours in the night! If I don't visit any parks etc then this won't count as a day, right?

Tickets do not become active until you use them at a park turnstile. You will be fine!
