Magic Band and Existing tickets

Hi all. We recently decided to stay on property for our vacation at the Coronado instead of off site and of course now we have the Magic Bands coming. We had already purchased standalone park hopper passes so in my MDE it shows both my band and my park hopper. My question is will I need to bring the tickets with me for admission, or will they be tied to my band automatically now? I did a quick chat and the rep said we should be all set, but sometimes the people who actually have the experience tell a different tale! If anyone has any experience with this please help!

It "should" work that way, but bring the tickets just in case.

If you have the physical ticket or the email with the purchase order number you can pair up with your magic bands at the MDE site. We had purchased annual passes last Oct, had a trip in Nov and could not pair the two since the order number was not the proper number for the actual ticket so we had to bring both. When you check in the CM can check your bands for tickets or at least point you to a CM who can help pair them.

By the way, on our MDE account it shows both a band and annual pass card for each person (but that is going to happen with annual passes).

Thanks for the replies...I figured we would carry the cards also because you just never know, but tying everything to the band would be nice. Fingers crossed! Can't wait to get there!

Carry the cards. The MB is a great convenience. But, in my case, I lost my MB after one and a half days. Glad I had my card.
