Lunch with a Disney Animator

Hello
I have been reading about a program Disney offers where you can dine with an animator at the Disney Studios. From what I understand, for a fixed price, you get an appetizer, main course, dessert and beverage, plus a souviner plate, and the opportunity to meet with a Disney animator.

I was wondering if anyone here had heard of it, or better yet done it. If you have could you post some of your experiences here? How long is the chunk of time you are alloted? What does the plate look like? Is it really worth it? I'd love to know more about this.

Thanks!

I, too, have heard of the program. As far as I know, they offer lunch (about $60) or dinner (about $100 with wine pairings) at the Brown Derby in MGM studios. I have also investigated the Lunch with a Disney Imagineer program, which is very similar to the animator program. I intend to have lunch with an Imagineer when I go during spring break this year, so I'll be able to report on how that goes. In the meantime, this link should be helpful.

If you have any more questions, you might want to call Disney Dining.

Actually, that was the first place I read about it. I just wanted to know more in depth facts and have a few more personal stories. I can't even find info at disneyworld.com. Maybe I'll try Disney Dining. Thanks!
