Anybody ever had lunch in the castle? How difficult is it to get reservations? What the view/meal like?

Thanks

I've had lunch inside the castle, it's pretty good. I had a steak and it costs about what you would expect to pay to eat a steak inside the castle. I think the cost for 2 adults was around $50 and this was lunch, no alcohol!

The views were not that great that I can remember.

It was still really neat eating inside the castle! I think if you have the money to spend, go for it! Get your reservations early though!

The food was good too!

I ate there and enjoyed it very much. They had the butter that was in the shape of the pumpkin. I had the pasta thing there which was pretty good. It was my moms birthday when we ate there and they brought out a nice desert for her which was good also. Also, in the lobby area is where you can meet characters if you are into that. And yes there is a great view from inside the castle and such a great atmosphere you feel like you are a royal yourself..

We had lunch at the Castle in January. It was very good. I would suggest that when you check in for your reservation you request a table by the window. That way you can look out at the park while you are eating.

We ate there once for dh's b day. He wanted to feel like a king and go to the castle. Our 3 ds were not too impressed. My view was of the elevator door. Last table in the back, but I think that was due to our family size. The food was very good. I did see our server gave me a double look when I asked if teen age ds could order off the kids menu. I told her he didnt seem to like anything on the adult menu. But he ended up with a sandwhich. The portions are huge and the food is fresh and good. I felt like we were very rushed by the servers and host, like get them in and get them out. I wanted to take some pictures downstairs in the lobby but an older grandma and grandpa were not budging out of the throne seats. Oh well. We did get a nice little surprise when little ds decided to go down the elevator with me while the others went down the stairs. When the elevator opened, guess who was there cinderella. She does not give pictures or autographs and she was inbetween her castle show. My dh got the souvenir mug and we still all talk about it today. They did give us a candle for the dessert we ordered.
