Well,

What are your thoughts on Lucky? The operator? What's in the wagon?

I just saw him this past week at the Animal Kingdom...I video taped him and he's pretty cool! One thing I noticed and thought it was quite weird is, at one point the "scientist" actor and Lucky bumped heads, and Lucky pretty much froze for a good 6-8 seconds staring at the ground...The guy then had to say something so he said "Oh, he's pretty tired....Or wait, he's counting the stones"...I thought that was pretty odd.

Anyway, I can put a clip of that video online if you'd like to see it. Give me a few days and I'll post it if anyone's interested.

Thanks!

I experienced kinda of the same thing with lucky...The 1st time I saw him there was a moment where he dropped one of his toys and his head just dropped down to looking at the floor and nothing happened this time for a good minute or so, and he was instatntly swarmed by cast members for whatever reason. Until one real official CM with a radio and all walked to the back of the cart and did something, and he then came back to life. Another time I was there and was sitting on the floor to watch him and was at ground level etc... And I noticed that that coverd kind of piece toward the front edge of the cart has some kind of wheel behind the covering and appeared to me is that is what is supporting the front half of everything. Then looked up towards his feet, and noticed that they appear to be barely touching the ground when he is walking.

Without disclosing anything, Lucky is the most expensive and advanced robot ever made by Walt Disney Imagineering.

Q: The operator?
A: Technically, there's no real operator!

Q: What's in the wagon?
A: The wagon contains the control center for Lucky!

Q: Where's Lucky now?
A: At this moment, Lucky is back at R&D in Glendale for maintenance...

Any chance that he will return to AK, or was he just a prototype for more advanced AA's to come in the future? (i.e.= Muppet Mobile Lab)
