Luau length

Someone mentioned that they sat through a 3 hour Polynesian Luau. I've only been to it once and I was too little to have a clue, but we want to go to it when we head down in a month (as it is included in our Discovery Magic Package as the same price as a meal at say, Pinnochio's Village Haus), but I'm trying to figure out what we will have time to do afterwards. (Since Spectromagic is only going to be going on the night we see the Luau, we're really wanting to get to MK afterwards for it and maybe some rides). Can we do it?

If you have alrady done the Luau I would suggest going to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. I have heard that it is much better, and there is an earlier show so you can go back to the MK right after.

You can go for the 5:00 dinner show and then be back at the MK right after. There is a boat that takes you from FW to the MK.

I've actually done both of these shows, but it's been several years since I saw either of them, and I think that my girlfriend would enjoy the show and atmosphere at the Poly better. And actually, the show there starts at 5:15. And thanks to Disney's overwhelming support (yeah right!) of Fort Wilderness (just look at River Country), I'm thinking that it might even be harder to get back to MK using WDW transportation from Fort Wilderness. No?

The boats are very reliable. I heard somewhere on this board tha the Luau was close to three hours, but I am not sure.
