I'm going to WDW the first week in August and am trying to make reservations to the restaurants I know I want to go to, sometime in the next week. I was thinking I also want to go to the Charactar Luau they have at the polynessian. DO you think 3 months is enough time to get a reservation for the Luau?:veryconfu

Has anyone done this before? I was wondering if its worth the money? I also think think that I would deffinitly do the 5:15 show, probably on a night MK had Extra magic hours at night so I would take the monorail from the Polynessian after the show.

Really? I thought there were Disney characters? That makes it not as appealing lol :(

I remember when there were 2 separate shows... an early one, geared towards kids that had characters and then a later evening one for adults.
I've heard good and bad reviews of the new show, but haven't been to it yet.

I've spent a lot of time reading reviews on the Luau at the poly.. and it seems that there are a lot of people who were not impressed by it.

If you want to do a dinner show.. I've read a lot of reviews from people who absolutely loved the Hoop Dee Doo Review. After reading soo many good reviews, I decided to add the HoopDeeDoo to my next trip.. 9:30 shoW! It seems worth the money for the atmosphere, food, and show! The Luau just had too many unsatisfied customer reviews for me to chance the money on.

The polynesian resort does have an AWESOME.. i repeat.. AWESOME dinner though.. Ohana's!!! Do that instead of the Luau.. its amazing.. .!>!>!>!

The dinners I have booked for my trip in may are:

1. Biergarten (always fun Epcot buffet .. is cool lookn inside)
2. Ohana's (amazing food and absolutely beautiful inside)
3. Hoop Dee Doo (big dinner show with all you can eat food, wine, beer)
4. Fulton's Crab House (great seafood at downtown disney on a ship!)
5. Liberty Tree Inn (comfy lodge in middle of magic kingdom with characters coming to your table, etc.. so much fUN!!!)
6. Whispering Canyon Cafe (first time im going to try this.. a lot of great reviews.. people compared it to Ohana's in quality .. but with a more crazy atmosphere)
7. Sci Fi Diner (love it.. milkshakes and all while u sit in these little cars in a replica drive in movie theater from the 50s! supercooL!)
