Would you say LTT is more around an hour or 1.5 hours to eat dinner? I got a 715 rezy and wondering if well need to power eat to see fireworks at 815.

Fortunately, it doesn't come out in courses. It's all family style so all comes out at the same time with the possible exception of the dessert. So you might gain some time that way. Still, an hour is too close for comfort for me, especially if I were going to find a good place to watch the fireworks also. See if you can modify your reservation to an earlier time.

LTT isn't 'too' far away from the castle, and we aren't keen on finding the 'right' spot to watch the show, just at least stand somewhere to watch it.

I do have an alert to try and get an earlier time (non available yet), but we decided to not do Cali Grill and have to leave early, go change, get back etc. I have an alert to try and get Cali on our arrival day instead.

Thanks!

I think that's a very good plan to stay in the park. Can't get LTT very often. Also, I wouldn't sweat the fireworks too much. It's nothing like HEA and that won't be back until next year anyway. Just play it by ear and enjoy your meal. The fireworks will work itself out.

One thing to consider. Once the hub gets full, you can't actually enter the hub to find a spot. Cast members will direct you to Main Street through a backstage street. So your choices might be staying in Fantasyland (behind the castle) or looking all the way down Main Street from the front of the park.

Is that your only MK day? LTT serves a decent meal that shouldn’t be powered through. I’d sit and enjoy it and have seconds on the items I’d find delicious. Our last dining there my fav was the pot roast and pork and it was worth getting seconds. And the ooey gooey dessert is something that is don’t miss. The fireworks will be there another night if you are returning.
For the price of dining at WDW you’d really want to get your monies worth and LTT is one of the better value spots IMHO. Why rush through a nice dining spot?
But to answer your query … you could power through and be out in time depending on being seated at the time you are reserved for ( sometimes checking in on time you can still be delayed for seating) and then tell your server you need to have the check and be cashed out quickly ( sometimes there’s a delay between ending the meal and getting the bill and paying).

The food will come out quickly: the length of the meal will just depend on your typical dining speed. My impatient, quick-eating family has never spent more than 45-50 minutes at LTT, and we'd have been out a few minutes quicker than that if the bill came to our table earlier. (Maybe we just have bad luck at WDW restaurants, but standard practice seems to be, wait until the customer asks for the bill, and bring it to them no less than 10 minutes later!) ;)

Thanks y'all! I can't recall if they allow you to be seated early (say 15 minutes)? I guess that would depend on availability. I hope to score the reservation around 6:30 instead of the current 7:15, and have alerts to keep an eye on it, but won't hold my breath. We do have another MK day for MVMCP if all else fails :)

Seating all depends on how they're running. More often than not, you're seated 10-20 minutes after your reservations time, rather than before, but it does happen! :)
