Low Sodium Dietary Needs Anyone?

Has anyone been in the parks (universal or disney) with this special dietary need? we have people coming on our next trip with a low sodium diet and im wondering how hard it is to find this? i would email disney but im sure i would just get the automated response of YES! we can help anyone's needs!

From what I've heard, Disney is pretty good about trying to accommodate special dietary needs. Check out this page for more information - it doesn't specifically mention low sodium, but I think the main takeaway is that if you mention your needs ahead of time, Disney will try to help you out.

I would think if your at a restaurant, try to order things without sauces etc, and tell them you don't want your steaks etc seasoned with any salt. That probably leaves out any kind of BBQ, pasta with sauces etc. Restaurants, in and out of disney all put a lot of salt in their food because in general it's a cheap way to add a lot of flavor.
