Trip Report Lounge Lizards Love Luxuriating

I'm back from a recent 9 day trip with DH @MSUJafar and DD @StupidJudy98. First though I'd like to go back in time to May for a trip I like to call "A farewell to all the things that are leaving, but mostly the Muppets."
The May trip was just E and I. We stayed at Saratoga Springs.

E with his favorite horse. I'm going to be honest...I was a really lazy picture taker on this trip which is why I chose not to do a full trip report for it. Actually I was a pretty lazy picture taker on the August trip as well compared to the amount I used to take.
Anywho, let's get the May portion started!
We had really good luck with transportation and we ended up being the very first guests at Magic Kingdom on our first morning there. They even made a big deal about the guy in the red shirt being the first one there.
Unfortunately E got pulled over and searched.

In hindsight, I should not have been polite and waited for him. If I had left him, I could have been the first one at the tapstiles. As it happened, we were only the third group of people in.
We were the first ones at the tapstiles on our HS day.

And we rope dropped ToT and were on the first elevator.

I'm getting off track here. This TR is just supposed to be about the things we'll miss.
Our last visit to see the Muppets. They had a PP photographer out by Miss Piggy's fountain. Finally showing her the respect she deserves!

They tried to hire us on the spot due to our obviously superior acting skills. 🤣 We turned them down though. We had some Muppets to see!

Our plan was to have lunch at the Steakhouse 71 bar, rest up and go back to see the Starlight Parade. Everything went according to plan.
E and I shared the burger, A had mac and cheese. Our fabulous bartender Cameron made the best Sea Breeze I have ever had! Whilst waiting for our food, I went to the lobby to see about getting a button. Some of my work friends had been texting me to tell me that the teacher ahead of me on the seniority list had retired. This meant that I was now number one on the seniority list! I've been waiting for this for a couple of years now, saying that when it happens I'm going to put a one on the back of all of my staff t-shirts. So it's become kind of a running joke.

Lunch was wonderfully relaxing, especially because we ended it with this little beauty.

The three of us managed to finish most of it.
Back in the room, E and A napped whilst I relaxed on the balcony. We had dinner at Contempo Cafe before making our way back to MK. My memory is not serving me well, but I believe we used a LL for Peter Pan before staking out our spot in front of Country Bears. It was a great viewing spot and we enjoyed the parade. However, we all agreed that it wasn't worth the amount of time we spent waiting. I don't know how to do spoilers, so scroll by quickly if you don't want to see parade photos.

During the parade we witnessed something that really made us smile. There was a group across from us that were cheering on and hyping up all of the dancers. It was super cute!
We used one more LL for Pooh before heading out. I do remember there being some urgency upon exiting the ride to make it out before Happily Ever After ended. We managed to make it out and back to our room without much of a wait.

Today was our last day at BLT, so we made it a MK day again. A wasn't quite ready to go when E & I were, so we left without her and rope dropped Mine Train again.

We were hoping A would make it in time. The wait wasn't too long by the time she got there, so we got back in line and rode it again.

We grabbed some breakfast at Gaston's Tavern as we had been itching to try the Ham and Gruyere sandwich. It was good, but not a repeater for us. Seating is very limited in there. We managed to get a table eventually, but there was a woman sitting at a six seater table on her phone the whole time we were there. No food and no one else joined her.

We had LLs for Haunted Mansion, Pirates and Tiana's.

Someday I WILL figure out which way my eyes should be looking!

Even though we really didn't need to, we used an LL for Magic Carpets.

We enjoyed a Dole Whip Float in the Enchanted Tiki Room. It's a Small World was up next. This is not always a must do, but I did enjoy the new verse.

Philharmagic was on the agenda for today since we didn't see it yesterday.

I had purchased a Single Pass for Tron again for A and E. A decided she didn't want to ride, so E and I headed that way. I'm not showing the photo because a) it's terrible and b) I'm out of photo space for this post.
We met back up with A to go to Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor and then one last ride on the People Mover.
When I started today's post I realized that we went to Steakhouse 71 today NOT yesterday!
Taking notes is important! "The dullest pencil is better than the sharpest memory."
I'm quite certain that we spent the evening packing in preparation for our move to the Boardwalk the next day.

How long did it take for the parade to get down to Country Bears? We stood in front of the ice cream parlor and it took like 15 minutes just to get over there!

We encountered a lot of people sitting in the quick service restaurants taking up tables with no food on our July trip. I understand that it's hot and people want some A/C, but it's really not great when you're walking around with a tray of food with no place to sit.

Our moving day was not terribly exciting. It was supposed to be a "rest" day. I had originally made an ADR at Kona Cafe for 9:30, but the day before, I moved it to 10:40 to give us a little more sleep.

Sorry about the blur and the inability to see the Kona sign due to the sun!
After breakfast, we made a trip to Disney Springs where this was the only picture I took while we were at Jock Lindsey's.

We did stop at the Photo Pass location for these gems! 😂

They had a very cute photo op at the Co-op.

We hung around DS for awhile. Happy hour was enjoyed at Summer House and STK before we made our way to the Boardwalk.

Our room was on the 4th floor and this was our view.

The ability to walk to Epcot (and HS), along with the chill vibe keeps us coming back to the Boardwalk.
DSC08529.JPG

It was a beautiful morning to enjoy a ride with a bunch of rats. It's so pretty back here! 😍
DSC08530.JPG

LLs for the day were SSE, Soarin' and Test Track. This is the result of me adjusting my camera settings instead of paying attention to the SSE camera.
DSC08544.JPG

It was worth it though. The front album was Wizard of Oz. I know it's allegedly changed daily, but when we visited a couple days later, it was still (or again?) Wizard of Oz.

After tapping in for SSE, I was able to get a LL for Frozen later in the afternoon. We were able to enjoy Soarin' twice in a row as Standby wasn't that long and then we used our LL right after. Living with the Land is a must do.

It was time for our first ride on the new Test Track. It did not disappoint.

I had gotten LL Single Passes for E & A to do GoG. It's not that I don't like the ride, but it does tend to make me a little queasy. I have to close my eyes when going around the moon. Anywho, A had realized earlier in the day that she forgot her ID. So I offered to go back to the room to retrieve it whilst they rode GoG. I really enjoy the Friendship Boats and one just happened to be waiting when I got to the dock.
