Lounge at the California Grill

Hi all,

Anyone know how to go about getting a seat in the California Grill lounge?

I plan on going there to see the fireworks as my boyfriend has never been there, and get some sushi and dessert :slurp:and enjoy the view of course! Is this do-able? I love this place, but we can't stretch to a 3 course dinner this time around.

Do you have to get a ressie if you only want to enjoy the lounge? Any tips greatly appreciated!

It is a first come, first served, on a walk-up basis.

The lounge gets crowded later in the evening, and people camp out in those seats as fireworks time approaches. It would be possible to go up there as a walk-in earlier in the evening, but it's tricky later on.

On our last visit to the California Grill, we had reservations for around 7:30-ish. When we were brought up, we asked if we could take our meal in the lounge instead of at a table and were told it was no problem. We shared appetizers, drinks and dessert at an intimate table right next to the window. I'm not sure we'll ever want to sit in the dining room again after that.
