I've never seen a full episode of either, but my parents love BOTH! Mom told me tonight that American Dreams is moving to the same time slot as Lost...(Lost being on ABC and A.D. on NBC)

anyway, I asked mom which she would watch, and she gasped for air, and said... "ARE YOU CRAZY? LOST OF COURSE!!"

moral to the story - ABC finally has a winner, at least in my parents eyes. they beat out NBC and CBS in our home, for the first time in a LONG TIME!

:sohappy:

Fortunately, didn't they say Lost wa sin repeat for 6 weeks. And American Dreams only has about 3 or 4 new episodes left so it should ot get totaly pummeled, tho I am sure Lost repeats will beat American Dreams new episodes.

I decided I would watch Dreams and tape Lost for later. Amer. Dreams is my favorite drama on TV now, even tho it is not popular and is "on the bubble" for renewal.

It's about a group of survivors from an airplane crash on a deserted island in the middle of the Pacific. In each episode, you learn about a specific situation the survivors are going through, and you see how it relates to a member of the group, which reveals their backstory, their secrets, their history, and how each of their lives were before the came to the island. Then, there's the secrets of the island itself, including a metal entrance going underground that they found, and nobody knows what it is. And in the first few episodes, you hear a gigantic roar of a big scary animal, which reminds you of a T-Rex; and all of this is from the creator of the hit show, "Alias", which is also one of my favorite TV shows, by JJ Abrams, who I now follow in my writing techniques. Believe me: his writing techniques are VERY good.

I found Lost again! It´s on AXN on Mondays at 9pm. So I watched it last night, I think it was the first or second episode ( I didn´t see the crashing, just when they are already on the island and the guy kills himself, and the kid´s dog is found). I will remember now to watch it, now that I know where I saw it! :)

The first season of Lost comes out on DVD in early September! I'm going to rent it from Netflix since I've missed most of the eps.

American Dreams is my favourite tv show. The world stops for American Dreams in this house. I've also heard that the final episode for this season was filmed as a series finale in case they get cancelled. This is one of the few decent shows on tv today. It does such a good job at portraying issues from that time period, like how Meg and Sam can't be together because she's white and he's black. And it makes me angry because Sam and Meg belong together!!! :o I think I need to take this to an AD fan forum, haha.
