Los Angeles 2024 Olympics - How it could possibly affect attendance

What news stations don't do that for Joey cities besides their own?
I have no idea who Joey is but Orange County is part of the metro area and they barely cover anything here at all. If you don't care about us, then allow us to have our own network affiliates. I get it, people in LA only care about the Kardashians and what happens in their county. No issue there. But if your job is to cover another county as well, do it right.

Autocorrect...stupid phone.

Your post is annoyingly ignorant, however, so won't respond to it.

I'm not worried about traffic or attendance (where in the title does it ask about traffic?). I'm speculating about attendance. Speculation and worry are two different things.

Unless one is planning on working at Disneyland 9 years from now, why would anyone "speculate" about what the Olympics would do to attendance? I'm sure a lot will have changed in L.A. in the 40 years since 1984. Better?

Tell me the last period of time where people didn't speculate about the future. You speak as if no one's ever speculated about what things will be like years and years from now. Did you know scientists speculate about what earth will be like...*gasp* 100 years from now? If you have nothing to contribute to the question, why are you bothering with this thread?

Changes to Los Angeles have nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

If they didn't care about LA's bid, what was the out of them waiting for the US to nominate the city for the bid?

The US has made the cut several times over the past couple of decades. Doesn't mean any of those bids were seriously being considered.

Yes, I do know scientists speculate about how the will be like 100 years from now, how to feed the population of the world, how to provide clean drinking water to tens of millions of people around the world and how to save what's left of many parts of the environment. Speculating about those seem to make a lot more sense than attendance at an amusement park nine years from now. Speculate on what you will, I just found it rather odd and frivolous. Obviously, it is a concern to you. Have a magical day!

Again, it's not a concern. Not sure what you don't understand about that.

Bye, Felicia.

Interesting thread. I'd have thought that attendance would spike, but I guess not? Perhaps demographics would have changed enough to be a positive for Disneyland?

If the Olympics were finally in the USA again, I know that I'd want to take a trip to see them, especially if Disneyland were part of the deal. :)
