So, I may be the only person in here that is planning a trip that will take place 2 years from now, but I'm so excited I can't contain myself. My DH & I originally had a trip planned for December 2014, but our budget was only allowing us to do 4 days and we had booked an off property hotel. I knew my fortieth birthday was only a couple of years away so after talking with the DH in more depth, we figured we could do a week long vacation and stay on property if we budget just right. So, while we don't have any concrete plans yet (doing ALOT of research on the resorts), we only have a date set for the 40th week long celebration: December 6-12, 2015.
I will probably asking alot of your advice & your preferences so I hope I don't become too annoying!
So, while I don't have too much planned yet, let me at least introduce myself and give you an idea who I am. My name is Brittany and I was born & raised right outside of Atlanta. I married my DH, Jerry February of 2011 and actually had our honeymoon at Disney World. That was literally the BEST trip I have ever taken. I've been going to Disney World off & on since 1985, but always with my cheerleading squad (I was a competitive cheerleader). If we weren't competing, we had limited time in the park & only got to visit Magic Kingdom. I also never stayed past 6pm so I never got to witness the fireworks or any nightly parades AND...I've never stayed on property before. Don't get me wrong, I always had a fantastic time and made some great memories, but I wished I could've seen more. Fast forward to February 2011 and we embark on our honeymoon.
I FINALLY get to experience all 4 parks and even the MK after dark, but we still chose to stay off property. We paid for our wedding so funds were limited. Just like the parks name...it was certainly magical and from that week forward, I became a Disney fanatic! Unfortunately, we haven't been able to return since our honeymoon. It will be 4 years since we've been to the Kingdom and I figure, hey...I only turn 40 once, right? Do it up big! I hope you enjoy this planning journal as much as I will writing it!
