Lord Of The Rings the ride?

Didn't I hear somewhere that Universal has obtained the rights
or already has the rights to this movie. If that was true it would probably make a great attraction!

Not that I believe it yet, but if they did, it would finally add that extra something that the Lost Continent has been mising IMO. I think some Shrek characters walking around in that land could help too.

Yes, Universal got the Theme Park rights to Lord of the Rings AND Harry Potter. (Remember: Warner Bros. does not own Six Flags anymore. They are there own company.)

I think of any of the islands, Toon Lagoon is missing a lot. I think its needs a dry ride, but that is besides the point.

Lost Continent is full of stuff, but if they do add LOTR that would be the place to put it. (As long as they don't do any major changes)

And remember: Just because they have the rights to make a ride dosen't mean they will.

I agree Lost Continent has a lot, it just seems loose, and lacking the film tie-ins like all the other lands have, just seems that something is not there, I dunno. Glad to hear about Harry Potter, now that could be a great ride.

Whoever says this has overlooked the point behind Toon Lagoon. It is a water-based attraction island. There are fountains everywhere, this is the only island that should never get a dry ride.

Yes yes... Toon LAGOON. I was even going to say that in the main post.

1) Most islands are named around water (TL being the only one in water)

B) It has more then water rides now (food, shops, that show if you want to count it)

3) I would love to spend more time in TL, but water rides don't always please me. Esp. in the colder times of day/year. It would be nice if there was a dark ride or something to spread crowds. They could even build a kiddy coaster.

Lord of the Rings is coming to Universal Orlando, but it won't be coming to the Lost Continent.

Come to think of it, it probably won't be coming to Islands of Adventure at all...

There's going to be an animated version of Sinbad next year, with the voices of Brad Pitt, Michelle Pfeiffer and Catherine Zeta-Jones... but I'm not sure who is producing it...
