So we've been tossing around what to do for our honeymoon for a while. No offense to those with kids, but I didn't want to do Disney cause I didn't wanna be surrounded by whiny, screaming, crying kids on my honeymoon. I'm not saying that's all kids, but lets face it, there are those kind of kids in Disney.

I wanted to do St. Lucia. I can just lay around on the beach all day and not give it a second thought. My fiancee isn't like that at all. So then we compromised on a cruise.

Until we got something we couldn't turn down to go to Disney. Her mom offered us dvc points to stay at AKL for the honeymoon! So to paraphrase something famous, "Steve and Victoria, you've just gotten married, what are you gonna do now? WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYWORLD!!!!"

We're gonna do it right and keep it relaxing though, since I've been 16 times, and her 37 times, we've seen everything inside and out. So we're gonna hang out at the pool, hit one of the water parks, or the spa during the day, and go to the parks at night. And since we're saving on hotel, we'll go all out on dining.

Congratulations!! You will have a fantastic time honeymooning in Disney! DH & I honeymooned there as well, and basically we did the exact same thing you are doing. We'd been there many times, so we decided just to make it as relaxing as possible. We did mostly sit down dining, spent time at the pool, didn't try to rush around to every attraction. We did a hidden mickey hunt in the parks, instead of all the attractions, and we had a lot of fun with that. We were able to see little details of the park that we always miss. Have fun!! :)

Make sure you wear your bride & groom Mickey ears!! ;)

We spent our honeymoon at WDW also and had a great time. As you have both been there many times you can spend time in the parks but don't need to run around trying to see and do everything. We enjoyed signature meals, cirque du Soleil, Hoop de Doo etc and spent most afternoons by the pool. Have a great "Disneymoon."

My first trip to Disney World was for my honeymoon. I wanted to go to the beach and my husband wanted to go to Disney World. We compromised and spent part of the week in Disney and then drove to Clearwater Beach. I cried when we got to the beach and wanted to go back to Disney. Needless to say, we have been to Disney every year since! It is the best place to spend a honeymoon. Congratulations!

We also honeymooned at WDW and have celebrated every milestone anniversary (ending in a 5 or 0) there. We recently returned from spending our 30th anniversary at the Poly. Here's hoping your honeymoon will make you want to return to our favorite place year after year!

We also went to WDW for our honeymoon and enjoyed it so much. My choice was to go to the Caribbean so the compromise was I got to pick the hotel. We're going back for our anniversary this year and we can't wait. Have fun and congrats early on your wedding.

You could combine your stay with a short cruise that way you get the best of both!

Congratulations. Maybe do some behind the scene tours, dine at Victoria & Albert, check out Cirque du Soleil, a fireworks cruise, a horse & buggy ride, and other more adult or romantic Disney activities.

Congratulations! My husband and I just got married and had half our honeymoon down there (did a 3 night cruise in between). I highly suggest eating at Victoria and Alberts. Hands down best restaurant on property. It is very expensive (especially with wine pairings) but so worth it especially for an occasion like a honeymoon. The service is just outstanding. And we had no idea what we were doing and our waiters could sense that and made it very very comfortable for us..even after I spilled my water all over the table....oops :) But definitely definitely eat there. have a great time!
