Looking For So Long!! Help!!

Okay....I really need some help here. :confused:

My wife and I have been wanting to remodel our kitchen for a long time with adult Disney theme. (No kiddy stuff.) We found an awesome Mickey waiter statue that we have seen in Mickey's Pantry at Downtown Disney several times.

We live in Texas and try to go twice a year. We had seen the same statue there several times. The past few months we have done what we could, when we could in the kitchen, and are finally done!

The only thing is, when we returned to WDW in December to get the statue, we could not find it anymore, ANYWHERE!! I could not find it in any park, I can not find it online, I can not find it on E-Bay.....You get the picture.

We have both been members on this site for years, and absolutely enjoy reading and wishing through these pages daily. I figured if there were a place where someone would know how to find our statue, or at least point us in the right direction, it would be here.

If someone knows where we can get our hands on one, please let us know.

Ahhh, he is adorable. I really hope you find him. If you don't see him on Ebay, then I am stumped. Good luck on your search and let us know how it goes.

You are right, that is one hard item to find. The closest thing I found was in the UK and its pricey, because its 3 feet tall. However they have many statues, I'll let you dig through....I looked for 30 minutes! Time for more job applications.....:hammer:

Have you tried looking at any of the Disney Outlet Stores?

I have found some pretty great deals on some hard to find items especially at the Las Vegas and the PrimeOutlets near WDW.

This is funny that you are asking this. I was just watching The Little Couple on TLC and they went home for Christmas and their family had this in their kitchen and then I see this post this morning. Did you ask when you were at the store? Wondering if it is just a Holiday item? Good Luck he is very cute.

Thank you guys for all of your help so far! I have actually had a couple of people find one for me! The sellers are wanting $500 though for a $59 statue. :mad:

We are still looking! Thank you all again for your help!

Once again, my DH's philosophy of "buy it when you see it if you really want it" is proven effective. Not fiscally responsible, perhaps, but effective. :lol:

Have you called Disney Merchandise- 407-363-6200? Pretty sure that's the number. They were able to find something for me without any more than a discription of the item. Good Luck!

I have called the Disney Merch. number, and they have informed me that the statue has been discontinued, and that they do not have any in stock.

The gentleman on e-bay with the $59 statue for $500 told me that they are very hard to find, and pointed out to me that I should already know that. I offered him $200 for the statue and he told me that he has sold two others for over $500 and that is what it would take to get this one as well.

I am very happy with all of the help that I am getting though. Thank you so much!

As a previous poster mentioned, buy it when you see it. Last year I missed out on the mickey garden gnome when my wife convinced me to get it later. Later it was sold out!

I am now allowed to purchase at my discretion.

I hope you find a cheaper ebay seller.

It's probably "local delivery only" because of the floral arrangement. I wonder if the OP contacted them and explained that he didn't want the flowers, just the Mickey, if they would ship it to him. :confused: :shrug:

All right my friends. I have spoken with the Disney Florists people three times now. They have done a great job of researching and calling me back twice.

They have agreed to sell me the statue only for $49 + Shipping. $67.50 total!!

It is paid for and on its way. I have the tracking # from UPS already.

These people are awesome and have wonderful customer service. Not that it surprises me with Dinsey.

My wife swore that the fellow WDW fans on this site would be able to find it.
