I actually saw a young woman driving around with a Florida plate that said "Mickey". I couldn't believe it. She seemed pretty young so I was surprised she would have been able to get the plate herself.
if you are interested in disney themed plates, i suggest driving through any of the wdw park cast lots. mk and epcot are openly accessable. mgm is, but you will need to choose the "cast member only" lane when entering from the world drive entrance (the one that takes you through the film cell sign). ak requires an id.
i would say that 1 in 10 has a plate that involves a disney referrence of some sort. whether it be a saying or referrence to their role (lots of characters). it's pretty neat to try to work out what they mean sometimes.
it only goes to prove that there is still alot of pride within the cast member community, in spite of all of the guest complaints!
and yeah, we're aware of the cast lots... and that we can see there. I've actually seen some really funny ones in the Universal lots too... "Don Duck" is a regular there.
The funniest one I saw in WDW though was "Milenko" which is in reference to the Insane Clown Posse :hurl: which HATES Disney
