Long Weekend in Dec

Trying to plan a long weekend in Dec and can't decide which time would be best - give me your opinion...
1 - Dec 14-17 or
2 -Nov 30 - Dec 3
I would like to avoid the Time Warner bunch --but hear mixed comments if they are a factor or not..

The 2nd weekend would most likely be not as busy as the 1st, and I'm not sure when the holiday prices start, but it might be around the 1st weekend's time.

I would think that the second choice would have less crowds, but the first choice the new FLE will be open.

i've been at both times for the past few years and imo your dates starting in nov are a little less busy. the pop warner kids are most noticed if you stay at the value resorts where they stay. in the parks they're not as bad as a lot of the tour groups you get at other times. the schedules for their competing keeps them fairly well staggered so it's not like you get hit with them all at once...unless you stay at their resort...that's when things like the food court, pool, and noise levels can drive you crazy.
