Just got home from another Saturday afternoon at the Magic Kingdom with my son Ben. Twelve times on Snow White's Scary Adventures today, bringing his grand total to 1025. Personally, I've kind of reached the Zen of Snow White at this point.
Anyway, the weird malfunction this afternoon is that in the mirror scene the witch is rotated 180 degrees out of sync. You come through the doorway, see the magic mirror, turn the corner, and there is the witch glaring at you with her arms outstretched while the wicked queen is behind her in the mirror also facing you. Then the two spin around like a synchronized ballet, both turning their backs to you. It is a very odd malfunction, and I feel badly for all of the people who went on it today not knowing what was supposed to happen there. The mirror scene is a really cool effect, and it kind of sucks to see it spoiled like this. I am betting it will be repaired after hours tonight, but don't quote me on that.
Also, just before entering the mine shaft there is a lamp out that usually illuminates the witch from below. With that light gone you just see the two vultures overhead, and then the witch lurking and cackling in the shadows. I actually kind of liked it that way more than having her lit up.
Oh, and Dopey and Sneezy are still MIA from the yodeling scene.
