Hi-ho, Kermit the frog here, which two out of the three attractions here should we put in Adventureland:
  • Pirates of the Caribbean
  • Indiana Jones & the ...
  • Jungle Cruise
I was leaning toawrds Pirates and Indy. That way, we could do something else to hold Jungle Cruise's place.

I'm thinking Pirates for sure... its certainly a toss up for the other ride. For this project are we simply working on a feature ride or a more general thematic approach (logos, colors, floral designs, land design and layout, etc etc etc)

I was thinking today... would the prospect of combining a classic and new age approach to the Pirates question be of interest? I was thinking, a new and updated ride paying homage to the old feel of Pirates with an offshoot to the ride addressing smaller children. I was thinking off to the side of the ride we could incorporate an adventure park of sorts. Something that brought together a place for parents and smaller children to relax and enjoy the park while maybe some of the older guests are on the ride itself. I was thinking playsafe material, and structures intended for children 5 and younger. I think it would be nice to consider the use of fountains, or patterns on the ground that periodically dispense water collumns of varying heights.

Can you please explain that more thoroughly?:veryconfu I am assuming we make the Splash Mountain-themed playground in Florida, but theme it to Pirates of the Caribbean.

I would also like maybe, If we throw in Journey to the Center of The EArth!

using the same layout and profile as tokyo.

Well the Small World reimagining was creative, it kinda lacked what it's a small world is, a cruise around the world. If we can do a classic version, that will be better.

Sorry, I must have forgotten to mention him as well. We have people that want to play, and most of your original team is inactive.

as this is my first project with the team I am just throwing ideas out there. I wasn't sure what exactly we're doing. I was planning on making a schematic plan and a CAD representation of what I am talking about. Its tough for me to get on a computer on the weekends. We'll see something Monday night / tuesday.

Well Jungle Cruise and Pirates should be in every resort as an homage to Walt. Indy would be kinda boring to make. He has done almost everything now.

Well, even if fabroman doesn't like it, I believe it's majority rules. So yeah. Lets do it. So for Jungle Cruise, why not make it a dual ride with the cruise and an air or land based tour. For Pirates, five words, NO CHARACTERS FROM THE MOVIE.
Just saying. I don't want our Pirates to be tainted by that terrible excuse for a movie based on the VERY LAST attraction Walt touched.
I think that if it proves popular, Disney will consider removing the characters from he other Pirates attractions and place Tom Sayer(?) Island back to its original glory.

I agree, I think we need to stick to the classic representations of pirates and avoid any characters from any blockbuster movies.
