living out of state and just approved an interview

About a month ago I applied for the part time housekeeping role at WDW. I actually live in NJ and stated this on my resume when I applied. Today I was asked to take the online interview questions, and passed. Now it says to schedule my interview in FL. The latest date is April 10.

I'm wondering if this is going to be realistic. If I go to the interview and get hired, how soon after would they want me to go for training and start? I would need to relocate to FL, and would be flying down instead of driving. Has anyone else been through this while living out of state? I am assuming they do not help with relocation. I have always wanted to work at WDW and now is my chance. HELP! :(

They do not typically interview out of staters for regular resort/park roles, so they're not likely to help with relocation (unless you're being hired as a look-a-like performer). I would just call them and let them know you're out of state and maybe they'll do a phone interview with you. Be prepared though, they probably didn't realize you're out of state.

As for your start date/training, that's something you'd set up during the job offer, so you'd have some say on how much time you need to move.
